AMP NETCONNECT - PoE Midspan Units
A flexible approach to provide Power over Ethernet !
The AMP NETCONNECT PoE Midspan Units can be used to provide Ethernet and Power on the same cable supporting remote power options for IP cameras, IP Phones , Wireless Access Points and more.
This range of professional grade, Midspan units are fully IEEE 802.3af compliant and also offer support for pre-standard and legacy PoE devices.
The combination of power and data in the same cabling means that cost savings can be realised on initial installations and when new devices are added. Power outlets at the terminal device are no longer required, making installations simpler and cheaper to provision.
The AMP NETCONNECT Midspan units also offers Ethernet/Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet support and so extends the range of devices that can be serviced. Up to 24 outlets can be connected and powered simultaneously but only circuits that require PoE functionality need to be connected through the Midspan saving money and offering flexibility that standard PoE switches cannot provide.
A fully managed unit is available which supports Web, Telnet and SNMP. This satisfies the customers requirement to control and manage all important elements of their networking equipment
The range of AMP NETCONNECT Midspan Units provides following options:
- 8 Port Units (10/100/1000 Base-T), spare pair mode, unmanaged
(up to 3 pcs can be mounted into a modular PoE Panel) - 24 Port Unit (10/100/1000 Base-T), spare pair mode, SNMP managed
- 24 Port Unit (10/100/1000 Base-T), spare pair mode, unmanaged
- 24 Port Unit (10/100/1000 Base-T), data pair mode, SNMP managed
- 24 Port Unit (10/100/1000 Base-T), data pair mode, unmanaged
