The technology which is applied in these cases is called APC (Angled Physical Contact). The end-faces of the connectors are prepared with a precision 8° angle, what is suppressing the reflections and therefore resulting into highest return losses. All APC Fiber Optic Connectors have an international standardized green colour coding.
